The Internal Cam Series is built for mid-size commercial installations where the project calls for an internal halyard system without the mechanism complexity or cost of a winch system. A cam cleat locks the halyard securely inside the pole shaft, keeping the rope out of reach and the exterior profile clean. Available in 20 ft through 40 ft heights, rated per NAAMM FP 1001-07. For projects requiring a taller internal halyard pole, the Internal Winch Series runs to 80 ft.

Simple One-Person Operation
The spring-loaded cam cleat holds the solid-braid polyester rope when you release it. No winch to crank, no complex mechanism to learn. Unlock the access door, pull the rope to raise the flag, and release. The cam cleat grips and holds. Lowering works the same way, and one person can do it.
Internal Security at a Lower Cost
Like the Internal Winch, the Cam Series keeps the halyard inside the pole behind a locking access door, with no external cleat or hardware. It costs less than a winch pole of the same size. If internal halyard security is the priority and the pole height is 40' or under, the Cam Series is the right choice.
Quality Hardware Throughout
The Cam Series uses the same commercial hardware as our other internal series: a cast aluminum revolving truck with sealed stainless steel ball bearings, a gold anodized spun aluminum ball ornament, heavy-duty stainless steel swivel snap hooks, a cast aluminum flash collar, and a galvanized steel ground sleeve.

What's the difference between external and internal halyard?
An external halyard runs the rope on the outside of the pole and ties off to a cleat at the base. An internal halyard runs inside the pole behind a locking access door, which helps prevent tampering and theft. The Internal Cam Series uses a rope halyard held by a spring-loaded cam cleat inside the door, with no winch. It is available from 20′ to 40′. What wind speed can these flagpoles withstand?
It depends on the configuration. For example, a 25′ pole with a 6″ butt diameter and 0.156″ wall is rated for 114 mph with a flag flying, while the same height with a 0.188″ wall handles 128 mph with flag. Our 35′ poles are rated 71 to 100 mph with flag. See the configuration table above for the exact rating of every SKU, and contact us if you need help matching your local building code.
Do I need a foundation? What's included?
Yes. Commercial flagpoles require a concrete foundation. Every pole ships with a galvanized corrugated steel ground sleeve and a grounding spike. Set depth is 10% of the exposed height, from 2′ for a 20′ pole up to 4′ for a 40′ pole. Many customers hire a local contractor to pour the foundation.
How long does shipping take?
Internal Cam poles have a production lead time of 5 business days in standard finishes (Clear, Bronze, Black), counted from order confirmation and deposit. Custom, powder coat and other anodized finishes are confirmed at the time of order. After production, standard LTL freight typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. An expedited dedicated truck (1 to 3 days) and same-day local delivery within a 4-hour drive of Acworth, GA are also available. What size flag should I fly?
Each configuration lists a recommended flag size in the table above. As a guide for this series: 20′ flies a 4′×6′, 25′ a 5′×8′, 30′ to 35′ a 6′×10′, and 40′ an 8′×12′.
What's the difference between 1-section and 2-section poles?
A 1-section pole is a single continuous shaft. A 2-section pole ships in two pieces that sleeve together on site, which makes delivery and installation easier. In this series, 20′ and 25′ are 1-section, 30′ and 35′ come in 1 or 2 sections, and 40′ is 2-section. Wind ratings are the same for the 1 and 2-section versions of the same configuration.
