The Delaware state flag was adopted on July 24th, 1913 and features a field of colonial blue with a buff-colored diamond with the Delaware state of arms in the center of the diamond. Below, the date December 7, 1787 is shown, which is the date on which Delaware became the first state to ratify the United States Constitution.
