Valley Forge's Spectrapro™ Polyester State Flags are resiliently constructed with 100% 2x2 ply spun polyester. Their durability and strength make them ideal flags for flying on a daily basis or in extreme conditions such as high wind. Each flag is finished with a heavy canvas heading and brass grommets, and care is taken to reproduce accurately all fine detail in intricate emblems.
The state flag of South Dakota has used the relatively same design since 1909. However it changed in 1992 to add scenery to the seal, and changing the state inscription from "The Sunshine State" to "The Mount Rushmore State".
