Valley Forge's Spectrapro™ Polyester State Flags are resiliently constructed with 100% 2x2 ply spun polyester. Their durability and strength make them ideal flags for flying on a daily basis or in extreme conditions such as high wind. Each flag is finished with a heavy canvas heading and brass grommets, and care is taken to reproduce accurately all fine detail in intricate emblems.
The state flag of Ohio is the only one in the United States that is not rectangular. The architect of the flag, John Eisemann, based the design off of the flags used by cavalry units during the Civil and Spanish-American Wars.
