Belgium Flags

The flag of Belgium was a result of the Belgian Revolution, at which time a French flag was flown over Brussels. A flag that has the same design, but with the colors red, yellow, and black was fashioned quickly at a nearby fabric store, and the stripes were moved from horizontal to vertical a year later in 1831.
